When you feel you’ve lost the plot
Cordite’s smell can help a lot.

And here’s a well-known shooters’ trick
That I’ve proved true once more:
Imagine your enemy’s face on the target.
It does wonders for your score.

Watching women pull the trigger,
It’s funny how their nipples get bigger.

At our coffee after the shoot
We’re quite a social mix.
But one topic we never discuss
Is each other’s politics.
