Legal warning

In the shadow of the Bolt decision a lawyer sends us a timely warning about the October issue of Quadrant – and he’s only read the cover!

I just picked up my October issue. Peter Smith, Greg Smith, David Smith and Melinda Smith, all just on the front cover!

I suspect you’ll be getting a visit from the “diversity police” – I will donate my services. Just a tip – if one of them happens to be a “white aborigine”, best not to point that out in your defence. You will end up in hotter water!

Have a good day – I’ll enjoy my reading.

Can you ever have too many Smiths?

Judge (no disrespect intended) for yourself.

October Quadrant is on sale now.

Clearly this has not been the case

  • Pennies for the Shark

A friend and longtime supporter of Quadrant, Clive James sent us a poem in 2010, which we published in our December issue. Like the Taronga Park Aquarium he recalls in its 'mocked-up sandstone cave' it's not to be forgotten
