Associative Logic No. 1

There are only four or five species of birds, three of which are variants of the extended seagull family, that inhabit this region of the cliff-face. This is in large part due to the wind that beats its airborne salt particles against the perpendicular landscape with serious velocity. Only since the invention of wearable binoculars have I found myself able to stand at lands end and greet the sea with open arms for more than a minute without succumbing to cascades of crystalline tears caused not by the speechless sentiments that occasionally I have felt towards the birth place of my abyssopelagic mother, but by the sand that blasts from nowhere into my face.
