Sue ’em, sister

In her latest, Bettina Arndt writes:

…normally, if an employee and their employer go to court, then the loser pays the legal bills. Feminism’s lapdog, Attorney General Mark Dreyfus, has now surpassed himself by coming up with a bill proposing that if an accusation is false or doesn’t succeed in court, the accuser will not have to pay the employer’s costs. And if only one small part of an accusation is upheld, the employer will have to pay all of the accuser’s costs…

And what might one of those issues be? How about a failure to promote “substantive equality between men and women”, whatever that means.

Bettina’s detailing of the Albanese government’s latest exercise in costly workplace woke-think can be read in full here.

I take it to include meaning a woman can do any job as well as a man, and vice versa.

My daughter’s boyfriend, 6’1″, 20’s, football-fit and gym-strong and my niece, 40’s, small, both had Bachelor of Psychology degrees and the same jobs with the government – looking after “at risk” young males.
No prize for guessing which one was bashed and quit the job.

A lawyer friend, previously Duty Sergeant at a large Police Station, told me that before the mass influx of females, he could see when a man was stressed and assign him to an desk job for a few weeks until he “got it together”, but he could no longer do that as all “easy” jobs were for females only, so the males either went on stress leave or quit.
