Conor Ross: ‘Global Citizen’

Global Citizen

In the past, there was the bit
when we wore funny collars, before that
metal stuff, before that
linen stuff.
In the future, there will be kind of
flying cars, taking black people to meet white people
so they can shake hands, laugh,
talk business, casually,
and they’ll be men who are women,
getting along with the other normals
zooming through pneumatic tubes.
Thank goodness
all believers finally decided to respect
each other’s disbelief
and sort this all out.
