flanneryIf you have come across a found copy of The Age or SMH lately you will be reminded in an instant why you no longer exchange actual money for the dubious benefit of reading its reporters’, er, thoughts. James Delingpole has the same reaction when reading Britain’s media apologists for climate orthodoxy:

“…first that you don’t need to be a policeman or a lawyer to recognise when daylight robbery is taking place. And second that if you’re going to base your entire argument on the Appeal To Authority, it’s going to look increasingly wobbly if your supposed experts turn out, on closer examination, to be a bunch of shysters, fakers, grant-troughers and total ignoramuses….”
