Crossed legs silence all guilt

For reasons that elude all who live more than 10km beyond their home cities’ CBDs, this is considered funny by those who regard the refrigerator door as the first pulpit of progressive thought and preaching.

The means by which actress Cate Blanchett (above) navigates her course through life is more intriguing — and far more striking should she ever put it on display atop the kitchen whitegoods in any of her many homes. Asked on US TV where her moral compass resides, she replied:

“It’s in my vagina.”

A comfortable fit, no doubt, and practical as well. Were it located between her ears, the global warming crusader might every so often hear a little voice suggesting that, really, it’s just a tad hypocritical to be lecturing little people about their carbon emissions while flying from tropical island to English mansion aboard a private jet.
