The most telling line from Andrew Clennell’s profile of Malcolm Turnbull PM, his staff, wife and management style:
“You have a discussion with any long-term Coalition staffer and we don’t know what we’re fighting for.”
And for the record, as today marks the long anticipated thirtieth bad Newspoll, a reminder of the Liberals who decided it would be a good idea to install as PM the man who, not long before, had been such a rash and dismal failure as Opposition Leader.
Behold, the Liberals whose votes made their party what it is today.
