Elioth Gruner: Master of Australian Light

A visit to the remarkable autumn exhibition at the Canberra Museum and Gallery titled “Elioth Gruner: The Texture of Light”, reminds one again of the high achievement of this master of landscape painting in oils. After his death in 1939, the Art Gallery of New South Wales mounted a memorial exhibition of Elioth Gruner’s work.
