Camouflage

Camouflage   People in stripes assert there are two clear ways to see the world, and both— yes both—at the same time.   People in spots equivocate about the weather. Unsure whether to bring umbrellas, or not.   People in florals effuse a flagrant wish—to stay as bright and fresh as an early morning garden.   People in black pretend they don’t care anymore. But they do. They really do. They care the most of all.   Helen Thurloe
