It’s a streetscape illuminated with the bright neon of familiar shop names. There is a large young cast; the oldest player seems to be the man filling out the security uniform over to the side beneath the Kentucky sign. There is a wall of noise and then a swaggering swell of chorus boys surges forward towards centre stage. A young man in the middle of the advancing pack trips and begins to tumble clumsily towards the ground. To save himself he does a somersault, and then walks on. He’s so drunk I don’t think he even knows what he’s done.…
