Crims rule! – not OK

Christine Nixon is police commissioner of the Underbelly state. She is leaving her job. The state’s police force is not in the best condition.

Comment by the National Interest on Radio National:

In her time in the top job, Commissioner Nixon has shattered glass ceilings while becoming the most prominent example in Australia of the professionalisation of policing. But with crime rates in Melbourne’s CBD still raising concern, some people in Victoria think it’s time for some fresh thinking at the top.

Translation: Crims win, Nixon loses.

Translator’s note: “Professionalisation” is what happens to criminals locked behind bars.
