Concerning Austerity and Creativity

1
Inspirations for Ikebana

Japanese are amateurs.

The Daylight Fox

1
Taking the Shot

Aiming at the fox
down the barrel of my lens,
I grieved it was not
down the barrel of my gun.
Still, I shot it on the run.

2
Taking the Blame

I had gone out rather than
with my camera
the fox I saw would be harmless
and the ewe would not be lambless.
