The Commission for Life, Family and Public Engagement of the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference has just released the document Created and Loved: A Guide for Catholic Schools on Identity and Gender based on the “universal truth that we are each called by a loving Creator who has formed us and claims us by name” and are thus “equal in worth and dignity … and precious in the eyes of God”, as propounded by the prophet Isaiah.
