The phrase—taken from Trump’s comments that he would bring upon North Korea “fire and fury like the world has never seen” if it continued to threaten the United States—seems too portentous for a gossipy volume preoccupied largely with the apparently immense foibles of every single person the author came across during his investigations at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.…
