Kim Core: My Conscience

My Conscience is a Rooster … “before the cock crows …”   it’s that loud, nagging voice inside my head that tells me I should think twice— it’s that loud, nagging, squawking voice that tells me I have done wrong —it’s that loud, nagging, squawking, high pitched sound that tried to warn me— it’s that loud, nagging, squawking high pitched triumphant voice that says   I told you so.   I was pleased when its head was cut off   … I was sorry to see it go.   Kim Core
