The Survival of the Monarchy  SIR: Two points should be made in regard to the excellent editorial (December 2011) on the monarchy/republic debate. The first is that while certain popular emotion may regard Camilla as somehow illegitimate, this is not of course the case. She is the lawfully wedded wife of the Prince of Wales.
