Ayers crock

In just three months, Australians will be denied the right to climb Ayers Rock. As Marc Hendrickx has written, the ban has nothing to do with safety, indigenous tradition, sacred beliefs or anything but the influence of a small, vocal and much quoted body of activists and compliant officials whose compulsion is to control the lives, activities and speech of others.
