Yes, Arts Minister

If you thought political correctness was dying – think again. It's Peter Garrett's new hat in a career that could be the TV hit of 2009.

What a comic TV series this would make – ageing rock singer becomes PC Arts Minister.

It begins when the Minister attends a "Summit" and edits, with hand waving for the visual representation of brackets and a mangled Latin pronounciation, the UN Declaration of Human Rights:

Article 27 (2) of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights  - according to the United Nations:

Everyone has the right to the protection of the moral and material interests resulting from any scientific, literary or artistic production of which he is the author.

Article 27 (2) of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights - according to Titanic Inc. Arts Minister Peter Garrett:

Everyone has the right to the protection of the moral and material interests resulting from any scientific, literary or artistic production of which he (sic) is the author.

The Summit Peter climbed to add his “sic” was carbon neutral – and he performed a Welcome to Country act.

Yes Arts Minister could become the sensation of 2009.

I thought you might like to know.
