Q Society of Australia Inc presents
First International Symposium on
Liberty and Islam in Australia
Melbourne 8 to 10 March 2014
From China to Iceland and from New York to Sydney, Islam is spreading fast. Since the 7th century this theocratic ideology, veiled in religious veneer, has conquered people and nations. No other ideology spawns discrimination, division and violence on such a global scale. A national Roy Morgan poll in November 2013 indicated the majority of Australians are concerned about Islam and 70 per cent believe Australia is not a better place because of Islam.
Australians are looking for information, perspectives and better policies. This symposium offers insights and answers. Presentations, workshops and social events in Melbourne’s CBD with:
Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer, Dr Mordechai Kedar, Dr Ashraf Ramelah, Gavin Boby, Simon Deng, Anders Gravers, Bernard Gaynor, Dr John Perkins, Michael Burd, Bill Muehlenberg, Babette Francis, Kirralie Smith and Debbie Robinson.
Learn, discuss and network with leading non-Muslim scholars on Islam and seasoned civil rights activists from around the world. For the first time such a competent panel of scholars, authors and activists from around the world comes together in Australia.
