Christ of the Ozarks Mike Carlson

The tall building in the postcard is a rice dryer. A typical scene in many communities where huge crops of rice are grown. The land is flat. Three trees, five telephone poles. More sky than land. More air than phantasmagoria. If I were a well off wannabe mystic, I would purchase the building to use as a hermitage. Designed like an elongated six pack with a tower at one end, it is an ideal space for contemplation. You can see all the dams in Arkansas from the top of the tower.
