History and Anzac Day SIR: I have always followed the practice of holding my peace when criticised in print, but have also always held that the exception to this was clear misrepresentation of my views, deliberate or otherwise. Mervyn Bendle’s piece (“Gallipoli: Second Front in the History Wars”, June 2009) constitutes such an occasion and I hope you might give me a few lines of print to correct it.
